Greed Not Need

Just look around you.

It all seems so new.

A darkened sky.

A sea of flame.

Everyone will cry.

But who is to blame?

Is it you or me?

It, he, or she?

Can blame belong to one?

Or does it lay with none?

And no one believed

That all this hate was conceived

Through greed

And not need

But if everyone were kind

Then this hate would unwind

Like a graceful dove

With a peaceful mind

And turn into love

Leave the pain and sorrow behind

Love me, it, he, and she

And you will be free

To pursue a life where you are happy.

Don't Worry, Just Smile

When you feel uneasy, sad, or weak

And the tears run down your cheek

It’s all too easy to feel unstable or fragile

It will all be okay, don’t worry, just smile

Don’t drown yourself in your tears

Its time to stand up and face your fears

If ever you need to some help, look to your peers

Don’t crawl into a bottle, no boozing, no beers

And when you find your happiness again

All you have to do is remember when

You lost it all the time before

Now go, be happy once more

And please, don’t be sad anymore.

Hope Over Rope

Hope

Rope

In this world I only see tragedy.

And yet I still hold onto this hope.

That if I live my life not for them but for me.

That I won’t just be hanging at the end of my rope.

That none are blind and all can see.

That all are happy and none shall mope.

That all are satisfied, equal, and free.

Not doomed to push a boulder up a never-ending slope

With Waivering Will

I’m standing still

My eyes are closed

With wavering will

My feet have froze

I’m lost in this place

My mind has shut

With nowhere to go

I got stuck in a rut

I’m caught in a bind

My time is running short

With no options in mind

I’ll have to abort

I have to give in

My luck has run dry

I wont ever win

Why should I try?
